What is your Shipping Policy?

Website Order

Due to our products being handmade, please note all orders have a 6-7 week turn around time, with the exception of custom and pre-order items.


This shipping time does not include weekends or holidays.


If you item is prepared sooner it will be shipped with a quicker turn around time but we cannot guarantee early shipment for any of our products.


If you need your item by a specific date please contact me PRIOR to placing your order. I will be happy to see if we can accommodate your request and let you know what additional costs would be to ship sooner.


Custom & Pre-Order

All custom and pre-order items currently have a turn around of 8 - 12 weeks. This is because we are a handmade shop and custom or pre-order items have fabric we will not have readily in stock. Once you place your order we will order the fabric for your specialty piece and the turn around for us getting that fabric can be anywhere from 4-10 weeks, the remaining weeks are for production time. 8-12 weeks is an estimated time frame, this time can vary due to fabric shipment delays.


This shipping time does not include weekends or holidays.

What if my package is lost or stolen?

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. When your order is shipped we will send you tracking information. We are unable to intercept or change shipping once we have shipped your package.


If your package was shipped, tracking shows it was delivered and you did not receive it you must also contact the Post Office with your tracking number to file a claim so they can investigate.


Please make sure your address is accurate prior to placing your order.
If your item is returned to us, you will have to pay additional shipping fees for us to send it to the correct address.

 

What makes Dee & Ollie Kids Clothing different than any other brand?


We are a 100% handmade small shop. This means that I personally sew all garments from this shop. They are all designed by me using my own patterns and fabric combinations. You will be guaranteed a truly unique dress constructed in the USA with the highest quality of fabric and most care given to its execution.

What if I can't pay my invoice until next week?

All invoices from custom orders, VIP Group Orders, Showcases, pre-orders ETC, must be paid within 24 hours. Any invoice not paid in 24 hours will be cancelled. There are no exceptions. 

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes, you will receive a shipping email with a tracking # once you order is being prepped for shipment- please make sure to provide us with the proper email to communicate this to you.

 

Can I rush my order?

Standard shipping for Website order is shipped 5 - 6 Weeks 

Priority shipping for Website order is shipped in 10 Days

Express Shipping for Website order is shipped in 5 Days. 

Holidays and Weekends are NOT including in these shipping times.

My order doesn't fit. What do I do?


Please ensure you are utilizing our sizing guide for perfect fit. We do not advise sizing up or down. Measurements are the only way to ensure we will make a garment that will fit for you. If you are unsure of the size to order please message us with your questions before placing your order. We do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds for sizing issues.


How do I care for my garments?


Hand wash cold and lay flat to dry. We cannot replace  items damaged after they are worn due to not following care instructions. Please ensure you are following every step here below to prolong the life of your garment.

We cannot replace tulle items damaged due to rough care. Please ensure you are following every step here below to prolong the life of your delicate garment.

Cleaning Directions
Any Dee & Ollie tulle product: including but not limited to skirts, dresses, bummies and more are created meticulously by hand. Each garment is very sensitive and needs to be cared extremely well from opening your package to wearing, cleaning, fluffing and storage.

These are a very loved product for our customers and they tend to be used very often so it is important to know how to clean your tulle products.

Tips on how to best care for your tutu:

• DO NOT EVER wash your tulle skirt / dress /etc in the washing machine
• DO NOT EVER (EVER) put your tulle skirt / dress / etc in the dryer. The drying process will rip and destroy the delicate tulle.

* REPEAT – DO NOT PLACE YOUR TULLE SKIRTS / DRESSES / ETC IN THE WASH OR DRYER! *

• The best washing method for your tulle product is to spot clean the dirty areas with soap and COLD water. Rinse it thoroughly, comb your fingers through each layer of tulle.

• If the entire tulle skirt/dress/etc is dirty, instead of spot cleaning, cold hand wash the item in the sink and follow the same instructions as spot cleaning Flatten out the tulle on a flat surface once it is all wet and wipe it gently with a non-abrasive soapy cloth or even try a baby wipe. Baby wipes can remove stubborn stains in small areas. Apply the same process for both the top and the bottom of the tulle.

• Hang the tulle skirt or dress on a clothes hanger, indoors to dry. This will assist with a wrinkle free tutu once it is dry, it will also help the tulle to dry straight.


Taking Out Wrinkles and fluffing your tulle

Who doesn’t love a beautifully crisp outfit with a lovely straight tulle skirt. So, let’s talk about how to remove the wrinkles from your tulle:

• DO NOT (EVER) IRON Tulle… Never Ever! You will destroy it, it will melt the tulle. Very very bad!!

• You can try using a dehumidifier… but very carefully. Place your tutu skirt / dress on a clothes hanger above the dehumidifier. Working from the inside out, carefully straighten the fabric by holding the tutu over it until it is fluffy again.

• You can also try a hand-held steamer but ensure it’s on a very low setting! And do not place the steamer too close to the fabric because it will destroy it. Tulle does not like heat!

• You can also try a steam from your shower. Steam up the bathroom well and comb your fingers through the tulle to separate the layers and detangle. I should help de-wrinkle the tulle.

• You can dip the tulle skirt into cold water and then hang up the tutu. Detangle the tulle with your fingers if required and then allow the weight of the wet tulle de-wrinkle the tulle as it drip dries.

Frayed Ends
Because these are special occasion pieces they are meant for special times but little ones just love to wear them all day and night they don’t care it’s only for a special occasion and we just love that! But with extra wear and play the tulle can become frayed at times. If this happens simply take the outfit off and use a sharp pair of scissors to cut the frayed ends off the tulle. Easy! (Exception is when a binding is on the end of the tulle do not do this in this case!)

Storage
The best storage solution for a tulle product is to hang them on a clothes hanger. This will ensure that the tulle does not crease and the garment retains its lovely shape until the next time your little one wants to wear it.

You can also store your tulle product in a box but you will have to remove the wrinkles and shape it, and fluff it back into shape after.


How do I make a change after I order?

We DO NOT accept changes once your order has been placed. Please ensure that all informnation is correct before placing your order including but not limited to size, style, shipping address, etc. If you request a change after your order is submitted we will cancel your order and you can place a new order with the correct information. We apologize about any inconvience this may cause but it truly is in the best interest of keeping turn around time as low as possible. 

 

Can I cancel my order?

 


We do not accept cancellations of orders, if you have extrenuating circumstances please let us know and we may be able to come up with a plan, including but not guaranteeing store credit for a future purchase.


Do you take custom orders?

 


YES! We love custom orders. Please contact us prior to ordering to discuss your custom request. Any order placed without speaking to us with notes of custom designs will be cancelled as we cannot assure price, product or shipping time without speaking to you first.


What's your RETURN and EXCHANGE policy?

 


Returns - We DO NOT offer returns for our product however we will offer a store credit. If you used a discount to purchase your order you may not return or exchange it.


PLEASE NOTE: All items purchased during a sale or with a coupon code, custom orders, personalized orders are FINAL sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.


Returns for store credit must be returned unworn, unused, undamaged, unopened, unwashed and with all original tags/packaging. If the item does not meet this criteria it will be sent back. It must be sent back to us within 5 days after delivery.


Exchanges - We DO NOT offer exchanges. You may return it to us and we will offer you store credit.


Anything else I should know?

We are a handmade shop. We cannot guarantee pattern placment or colors due to the handmade nature of our product. Please understand colors may vary depending on your monitors brightness, contrast, etc.
